I secured the role on the spot during the interview, tasked to instantly pitch a campaign for a round, dark biscuit glazed with white sugar stars. My vision: a child's bedroom melting away into the cosmos, leaving only a bed beneath a gentle lamp; the child sweeps an arm across the night sky, and from that sparkling celestial disturbance, the biscuit materializes in their hand.

Bringing that same imagination to the corporate grid, I became the sole creative force responsible for the entire Galați territory. While a national agency in Bucharest managed the countrywide footprint, I designed and deployed the local marketing empire—building branding materials, managing budgets, and single-handedly turning the regional transit fleets and delivery trucks into moving canvases of our visual identity.

The time came to stop navigating other people's currents and build my own channel. Handed an empty canvas during a high-stakes corporate migration from the Netherlands to Brno, I was tasked with constructing a three-person Service Desk entirely from scratch. This was the precise crucible where my IBM toolkit evolved—shifting from habits I practiced to a rigid, high-performance architecture I designed and deployed myself.

The result was an operational masterpiece. From a blank slate, we engineered a lean, hyper-efficient nerve center that anchored over 1,200 employees and stabilized Fabory's entire European warehouse network. We commanded an elite 89% first-call resolution rate, turning a risky corporate transfer into an absolute success story—proof that when you master the logic of the current, you can build a flawless harbor anywhere.

SecOps Analyst → SecOps Engineer

Dropping anchor in the high-stakes currents of finance, I spent four years as the sole SecOps sentinel commanding the entire EMEA region—the absolute engine driving 80% of FNZ's core business. I held the line alone as our digital ocean swelled, protecting the platform as Assets Under Administration skyrocketed from under $100 Billion to over $1.5 Trillion. My promotion to Engineer was forged not through managing headcounts, but through the sheer depth of my defensive architecture.

Testing and strengthening our global shield by being part of a massive ArcSight-to-Splunk SIEM migration and commanding a brutal enterprise SOC stack spanning CrowdStrike Falcon MDR, F5 WAFs, Forcepoint, Check Point, Defender, Symantec, Trend Micro, Varonis, and Qualys. Pressure-testing our walls through intense purple-team combat with Mandiant and NCC Group. From that solitary watch, I scaled a global defense fleet—onboarding and training analysts across the CZ, US, and UK to protect a network stretching from Sydney, Wellington, Singapore, Brno, London, Edinburgh and Boston.

But my greatest victory was a quiet defiance. In an industry whose baseline reflex was to block the horizon, I stood as the lone voice arguing that we should not fight the incoming generative tide, but channel it under strict controls. The company listened, bypassing the walls to contract directly with AI providers—proving that true security isn't about halting the current, but knowing exactly how to navigate it.
